Alien buds

D:< EW you nasty flower, you. Ugh it was hard to cut through this flower, I don't know what I was expecting but this thing was creepy and gross when I finally was able to bisect it. I recall exclaiming "WAT" as soon as I did, because little seed kernel things started popping out. I don't know what I expected... I guess I thought the red bits continued on inside like a geode and were already forming the fruit. It makes sense that it formed the little kernel first, but I am still haunted by their little maggot appearance.
