The Puya Alpestris, or Sapphire Tower, has itty bitty seeds. According to the internet, these guys are in the bromeliad family with such household names as the pineapple and spanish moss. This variety typically grows as a mound of toothed long bladed grass. At around 2 ft high, the mound will sprout a flowering spike that hopefully reaches about 5-6 ft tall. It can take over 2 months to germinate, but hopefully these are more in the month range.
