TML Saga: The death of Float Boi

We have lost a great contender. As predicted, Float Boi wasn't a viable seed. This leaves (lol) Sinkmann as the only Texas Mountain Laurel seed in the dirt. Following Dr. Google guidance, I'm watering very sparingly and letting the tap root establish itself before panicking because I don't see any sprout from Sinkmann. I'm still in mourning, not scarifying another giant red seed yet.
