The Parable of Float Boi and Sinkmann

I finally decided to start the Texas Mountain Laurel; first step, scarification. I took a knife to the seeds to get through the thicc af red seed cover. Then, I soaked them for 24 hours. I noticed that one of the two I was trying floated in the water. I'm pretty sure that meant it wasn't viable, but I wasn't sure. So, I decided to name them Float Boi and Sinkmann and see which germinates. Fingers crossed they both sprout! The soil here is empty but I was so jazzed about their names I took a picture without putting the dumb things in the soil.
